Eighties legends Soul II Soul and Paul Young will be performing in a spectacular double-bill of live music tonight that’ll bring an eclectic mix of rare groove, classic soul, house and reggae right to the heart of Falls Park.

Soul II Soul had a string of hits in the 80s and 90s including the number one smash Back to Life and other classics such as Keep on Movin’ and Back To Life.

Their album Club Classics Volume One went multi-platinum in the American and UK charts and is generally considered to be one of the greatest debuts of all time. If you want to hear why, get yourself to the Big Tent tonight.

Paul Young needs no introduction as he was rarely out of the charts or off the Top Of The Pops stage in the 1980s. His hit singles included Love of The Common People, Everytime You Go Away, Come Back and Stay and, of course, the number one, Wherever I Lay my Hat (That’s my Home).  He also performed at Live Aid in Wembley Stadium and now you can get up close and personal with the star performer at the Falls Park!

Tickets £20. Available at www.ticketmaster.ie and all ticketmaster outlets.

And don’t forget the big Carnival Parade today, making its way from the Conway Mill at 1pm and going to the Falls Park for a party to remember. See you there.
