The announcement earlier this year that Leeds indie rockers the Kaiser Chiefs were to headline the festival was met with fever pitch excitement across the city and beyond. And tonight’s the night the headline act take to the Big Top stage in the Falls Park.

The Kaiser Chiefs will have revelers across the North flocking to the West this evening to sing along and dance the night away to their top ten hits including I Predict A Riot, Oh My God, Never Miss A Beat, and their number one hit Ruby.
Their new album Education, Education, Education & War, one of the most hotly anticipated albums of 2014, was released earlier this year and the Falls Park audience will be one of the first to hear the live version.

Front man and Voice UK coach Ricky Wilson has won over a legion of fans over the years with he and his band’s ability to create hit after hit, claiming their success lies in their primary inspiration – new wave and punk rock of the late 70s and 80s.

This headline act is one that is definitely not to be missed!
