THE Eat Out to Help Out scheme starts across the city this week, with registered restaurants offering a 50 per cent discount on menu items as part of a new government initiative for the public to support restaurants and cafes.

The discount applies on a Monday through to Wednesday until the end of August and it is hoped customers will dine in and support businesses, which had to close their doors during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Over a thousand restaurants in the North are offering discounted meals from Monday to Wednesday throughout the month of August as part of the scheme.

Taking part in the initiative is Andersonstown Road based Pizzabaker. One of Europe’s fastest growing pizza chains, the eatery is offering its customers the chance to sit in to sample their pizzas with up to 50 per cent off (maximum discount of £10 per person) in their causal dining area.

Those opting to make a ‘meal’ out of it will be able to sit in and let the Pizzabaker staff do the rest with their local staff happy to welcome all. For a night off and away from the kitchen make Pizzabaker your destination to avail of the chance to ‘eat out and help out’.
