Leaders from the Irish diaspora will fly into Ireland in October for the 13th Belfast International Homecoming but this year even those who can't be with us in person can join our gathering in spirit.
For we're inviting our global family to join in the Homecoming craic by sending us a photo from their adopted home so that we can publish them on belfastmedia.com and in our special Homecoming supplement.
The Homecoming journal, containing full portraits of our Belfast Ambassador Medal recipients, will be printed in magazine format and distributed at our gala dinner in the Titanic Hotel.
The Homecoming will run from 7-9 October and special guests will include Elizabeth Breadon, President of Boston City Council and Senator Joseph Cryan of New Jersey as well as England-based construction titan Brendan Kerr of Keltbray. Other Medal recipients will include Hugo Straney, a Divis Flats native who is now the best-known and most-loved Belfast man in Canada.
