Colin Allotments and Healthy Living Centre

Colin Allotments and Healthy Living Centre is a two-and-a-half-hectare site with a hundred and forty privately leased allotments and 30 educational group allotments. Colin Neighbourhood Partnership oversees the site and has hired horticulturalist Michael McCorry to manage the allotments. Colin Allotments now offers a wide range of horticultural and food-based training at the attached Healthy Living Centre. The site is a place where community growers throughout Belfast can avail of training and the site is developing into a recycling hub with an ongoing supply of wood chippings, logs, manure, cardboard, planters and vegetable, herb, fruit plants grown for community growers.
