Wendy Mistéil is Altram’s regional Irish-medium Early Years Programme Support Specialist for the SureStart Developmental Programme. Wendy provides support and training to Irish medium staff regionally, creates and produces language support resources for staff and parents, and facilitates programmes for parents as part of our ‘Ag Tacú le Tuistí’ initiative. 
Thanks to a small pot of funding we secured, ‘Am Luí le Wendy’ is broadcast globally on Monday nights on Raidió Fáilte, where Wendy reads a bedtime story providing Irish language exposure outside of the ‘seomra ranga’. We hope to secure more funding to continue with this well received project.
