ST COMGALL'S - WHERE THE TROUBLES BEGAN EXHIBITION

The Falls Where the Troubles Began tells the story of the outbreak of conflict on the streets around the old St Comgall's school from August 1969 and the military curfew of the area in July 1970.

The exhibition, curated by the Falls Community Council, features accounts from local people, impacted on by these pivotal events, as well as footage of the events of August 1969 and the curfew. 

It is an extraordinary tale, at times challenging, but out of this conflict is born a story of community cohesion, renewal and regeneration.
