Best of the West 2025

BEST LOCAL TALENT FINALIST - Rhiannon Crilly

Your Name: Rhiannon Crilly

Your favourite thing about West Belfast: The people and the sense of community/belonging

Your First Job: Santa’s Helper at CastleCourt’s Santa’s Grotto

What it taught you: Working at Santa’s Grotto throughout the Christmas season taught me how to handle busy and intense situations, as well as discipline in terms of keeping a bright and positive attitude especially when it’s extremely difficult

What do you think are the key ingredients needed to make a person or organisation the Best of the West? I think to become Best of the West, a person or organisation should be dedicated, committed and passionate about what they do with a strong sense of community and love for others. I think they should be helpful and supportive to everyone because the interconnection of everyone here in West Belfast is what makes it so special.

I’ve been doing musical theatre since I was around 11 years old, singing for as long as I can remember. I’m 17 now and have since represented Belfast at the Irish Youth Music Awards, had a leading role in a Cinemagic short film, and a lot more.
