Bengal Spice on the Andersonstown Road has been nominated for ‘Best Restaurant’ in this year’s Best of the West competition. For over six years Bengal Spice has been serving delicious Indian food with a well regarded dine-in restaurant and takeaway service, so much so that Bengal Spice made it through to the finals of 2021’s Asian Curry Awards. The restaurant is now a go-to spot for people who want an authentic Indian dine-in experience.  Mark Ahmed, who looks after day-to-day operations, said there was always confidence that an Andersonstown restaurant would be a big success’. Mark added: “The Andersonstown Road has a lot of takeaways and fast food places, but there weren’t many places for locals to dine in a restaurant. There can be a stereotype that all Asian food is extremely spicy, but we cater for all palates,. We do sweet, creamy and mild curries, to medium and flavourful, to really hot curries as well if that’s what you’re after!  “With Bengal Spice you have that opportunity. We’ve been well known for our great service and great food. That’s what the locals want and that’s what we’re supplying them with.”
