Best Visitor Attraction on Translink Route

Colin Glen has been a mainstay of West Belfast for over 30 years, providing not only a giant adventure day out, but also an interactive and creative way to get in touch with nature across the 200-acre Forest Park. Over the past year, Colin Glen has launched several new world-class attractions, including Ireland’s first alpine coaster, the Black Bull Run, which travels through the forest at speeds of up to 25mph featuring many twists and turns along the way. The adventure park has also welcomed two new dual ziplines – the 250m Forest Flyover zipline and Ireland’s longest zipline, the River Rapid, which sees visitors soaring 100ft high across the Belfast Hills along a 750m line. Operations Manager Aaron Wylie commented: “We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for Best Visitor Attraction this year. Colin Glen is, at its heart, a community trust, so it’s great to receive this recognition and to be able to share our world-class facilities with the local community and beyond!”
