Cooper’s Pharmacy on the Andersonstown Road is part of an independent, family-run collection of pharmacies in West Belfast, with premises in Andersonstown, Riverdale, Ladybrook Park and Lenadoon. Cooper’s help their customers with a range of services, including treatments for minor ailments, lifestyle management, including stop smoking courses and help with weight loss, and an array of over the counter medicines and medications. Over the pandemic Cooper’s was also at the forefront of the community in delivering help when it was needed, including running a walk-in vaccination service and a prescription collection service for people who were unable to leave their home. Emma O’Connor, a pharmacist at Cooper’s Pharmacy, said: “We are so thankful to everyone in West Belfast who has nominated us. Cooper’s do an amazing job and know all of their customers extremely well. We’re part of an independent and family run group of pharmacies and this means the world to our staff for all of their hard work and dedication during the Coronavirus pandemic.”
