Shearer Meats, located on the Andersonstown Road, has been nominated for ‘Best Butchers’ at this year’s Best of the West and has been an institution in the West of the city, serving the finest meats since 1957. Shearer Meats still keeps up traditional practices, bringing in their meat fresh, instead of having it frozen and transported in. Shearer Meats bring their meat in and mature it naturally themselves, and Shearer Meats is renowned for the tenderness and flavours of their products. All the meat in Shearers is brought in, aged and cut according to traditional methods, using only locally sourced produce.
