A recently formed Glengormley inter-church community group held its inaugural meeting last week. The Greater Glengormley Churches Community Forum was formed earlier this year with an aim to tackle issues including anti-social behaviour and to build bridges towards a more inclusive community.

The Forum was established as a result of a series of focus groups, initiated by Glengormley Clergy Fellowship, which took place between March and June. More than 20 people attended the inaugural meeting in Mossley Mill on August 22.

Councillor Noreen McClelland congratulated the group on “undertaking this important initiative”.

The Greater Glengormley Churches Community Forum group now plans to hold further meetings in the coming months at venues across the Glengormley area.
