BENNETT McNALLY MILA Birthday memories of our beautiful daughter Mila who would have been 17 today had she been here Our baby girl, another year just slips away, it slips on by so fast, then we turn around and look into the distant past. If only it was different, if only we did more, if only we could pick ourselves up off the hospital floor. We never will forget that night, it tore our souls apart, to loose the purest thing we had ripped from within our hearts. You think that time will heal, you think the heart will mend, if I could put it back the way it was by making time our friend. But hope and wishes will always be what we yearn for most, as I’m smart enough to realise as I’m writing this small post. We love you Mila all year round, you’re never off our minds and especially at this time of year as frost glistens on the ground.
