McKERNAN Jim Óglach 14th September 1986 40th Anniversary You have lived on in stories, in memories, in photographs and in the quiet pieces of yourself that you left behind. In the way we laugh, in the things we find beautiful, in the values we carry, and in those moments when we feel something we cannot quite explain and somehow know it is you. There are so many things we wish you had seen. Milestones you should have stood proudly in the front row for. Family moments you should have shared. Grandchildren you should have held. But alongside the sadness is gratitude. Gratitude for the life you lived. For the love you gave. For the family you helped create. And for the legacy that has travelled through the generations. Your life rippled forward, far beyond the years you were given. Past the people who knew you then. Through your wife, your son and daughter and into their families. All the way to grandchildren and a great grand-daughter who never had the chance to hold your hand, but who carry a part of you nonetheless. Daddy, husband, granda, great granda - you are not forgotten. Not even close. You are remembered in the stories we tell, loved in the family you created, and carried in the hearts of generations you never got to meet. Forty years have passed, but your place in our family has never been lost. Gone too soon. Loved without end. Remembered always. Your loving wife, son and family, daughter and family, grandchildren and great grand daughter.
