We can't believe it's been a year since we've seen your face or heard your laugh. You were taken from us far too soon, your story hadn't ended. There were still countless chapters to be lived. You would have loved this year for us with all the changes, from your new daughter-in-law to your newest grandchild and the independence we have all shown, to prove you don’t have to worry about us up in heaven. Keep watching over us and we promise to remember all that you taught us and pass it down to our children, so that even though you are gone you will never be forgotten.
