The vehicle was subsequently located outside a property in the area – and the driver was arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences. A search of the vehicle, prior to its seizure, led to the recovery of a significant amount of suspected counterfeit currency.

Meanwhile, a search of the woman also resulted in the recovery of a quantity of suspected Class C controlled drugs.

Officers subsequently searched a property in the Rockville Street area and seized a significant quantity of items, worth thousands of pounds, believed to have been stolen from commercial premises on the Boucher Road and Knocknagoney Road.

The woman was further arrested on suspicion of a number of additional offences, including suspicion of possessing counterfeit currency, handling stolen goods, and possession of a Class C controlled drug.

The woman has since been released on police bail to allow for further enquiries.
