POLICE are appealing for information after a spate of overnight burglaries in North Belfast.
Sometime between 11pm on Sunday night and 6am on Monday morning, a number of burglaries at residential properties in the vicinity of Cavehill Road, Antrim Road and Oldpark occurred.
As well as money and other items, one vehicle was stolen from a property at the Formby Park area and was subsequently recovered at the Jamaica Street area.
Another vehicle, which was taken from a property located at the Shangarry Park area, remains outstanding at this time. Police have arrested a 30 year male in connection with one of the incidents.
Chief Inspector Patrick Mullan said: “Our enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding these incidents and, we are investigating whether they may be linked.
“We are especially keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV, dash-cam or other footage of these areas or noticed any suspicious vehicles or individuals.
