THE search is on for nominations for the Health and Wellbeing Award in this year's Aisling Awards.

For 30 years the Aisling Awards have celebrated the very best of Belfast — the generosity, resilience and indomitable spirit that continue to define a city full of ambition and opportunity.

For three decades these awards have shone a spotlight on the community champions, innovators, businesses and bridge-builders whose dedication helps shape a better Belfast for all.

Now, as we mark this special milestone year, we invite you to be part of the celebration by nominating the neighbourhood heroes, inspiring leaders and outstanding achievers who deserve recognition at the 2026 Aisling Awards, taking place at the Europa Hotel on Friday, November 27.

Cirdan are once again delighted to sponsor the Health and Wellbeing Award.

Hugh Cormican, CEO of Cirdan, said: “At Cirdan, our mission is to improve healthcare outcomes through innovation, and the Health and Wellbeing Award reflects the values that are central to our business.

"We are delighted to support an award that recognises the organisations and people making a meaningful difference to health and wellbeing.

"We encourage everyone to take the opportunity to nominate a deserving organisation and help shine a light on the positive impact they are having.”

Last year, Féile Women’s Choir picked up the gong and the search is on for this year's winner.

Mary Shannon from Féile Women’s Choir is encouraging people to get nominating.

“It was fantastic to be recognised with the Aisling Award last year,” she said. “We are a very open group and we are always encouraging more women to come every week and join us in the Cultúrlann every Wednesday night.

“I would encourage everyone to put yourself forward or get someone to nominate you for this year’s award.

“Look around for good community organisations that bring people together and celebrate life.”
