Best Careworker

Brooke Hamilton been a care worker for just shy of two years, but it would be fair to say that she has truly found her calling in her current role.  Working for Connected Health, she visits clients at their homes to provide for their physical and emotional needs, whether by providing them with their breakfast in the mornings or even by just cheering them up. As the primary carer for a lot of her clients, Brooke sees them like family and goes above and beyond to ensure they are looked after.  She became a care worker due to a desire to help others and “fell in love” with the job. Reflecting on her nomination for Best of the West, Brooke said: “It means a lot and it’s really heart-warming. I know I’m good at my job, but to get the recognition makes it all worth it.”
