McAuleys Family Butchers on the Falls Road have been nominated for ‘Best Butchers’ award at this year’s Best of the West and have been serving the local community since 1985. John McAuley, who took over the shop from his father, has continued the family’s proud tradition of serving only the highest quality locally sourced meat.  McAuleys is well renowned locally for their brilliant offers on their meat parcels, steak night offers and their boneless Chinese ribs. As well as operating two butchers, with another McAuleys on the Stewartstown Road in Dunmurry, McAuley’s also offer a delivery service, which customers made full use of during the pandemic when people could not get out to the shop Speaking on their nomination, John said: “We’re delighted to be nominated, we won Best Butchers before a few years back, but the category wasn’t running for a few years, and now we’re so happy to be nominated again. We can’t thank our customers enough.”
