Nadine Megaw may have wowed audiences when she auditioned for the X-Factor back In 2016, but it is her hairdressing skills that have seen her nominated for this year’s Best of the West awards. Having begun training in hairdressing in school at St Louise’s Comprehensive College, Nadine went on to finish her training with Workforce and has been working as a hairdresser for the past eight years, with the last two years being self-employed.  Expressing her delight at being shortlisted Nadine said: “With Covid, going out in business on my own was really difficult, but I am over the moon that my customers have been nominating and voting for me this year. After everything that the beauty industry has been through over the last few years it really means a lot for them to recognise our work.  “When I found out I was shortlisted I couldn’t believe it and I would just like to thank everyone who put me forward and has been voting for me.”
