CARABINE Ciss. Three years since you went away, needless to say, I think of you many, many times a day. It’s like yesterday when it was your time to go, but I must keep going because you told me so, you warned me not to mope, mourn or to get low. I’ve done your bidden, just as you asked, I’ve tried to pay heed and stick to the task. I have tripped, stumbled and fallen but always rise when I hear your voice calling. It’s in the subconscious of my mind, reminding me that you were one of a kind. Our journey together was long and caring, two peas in a pod, always loving and sharing. We broke our daily bread every day, then our last supper came and you had to go your way. Back from whence you came, returning to the embrace of his healing flame. Back to the warmth of his Sacred Heart, never again to leave, never again to depart. In time we will renew our vows in the mansion with the many rooms and once again our marriage we will resume. Together forever in eternal bliss, me your loving husband Dessie, and you my adorable wife Ciss.
