CHESNEY Bridie 10th Anniversary occurs 21st November Bridie the moment that you passed away my heart just broke in two, one side filled with heartache the other died with you. My heart is full of memories, with pride I speak your name, though life goes on without you it will never be the same. I sat beside your bedside, I held your hand in mine, I knew that I was losing you, you were running out of time. Did you hear the words I said to you even though you could not speak, did you know I stroked your hair and kissed you on the cheek. Did you know my heart was breaking, did you hear me cry, did you hear me say I love you Bridie before I said good-bye. Lord if roses grow in Heaven please pick a bunch for me, place them in my Bridie’s arms and tell her they’re from me.
