DOAK Margaret Precious memories of my granny whose 2nd anniversary occurs 4th April 2022. There are so many things I miss about you that I could write, but I will only write about the things I think about most at night. I miss walking into your living room and seeing you sat on your chair, solving a crossword puzzle whilst mumbling a silent prayer. I miss seeing you with your cigarette, a biscuit and a cuppa tea, it was the simple things that made you happy, that was always clear to see. I miss seeing you on a sunny day fixing up your garden, and I remember that song you always sang that started “ I beg your pardon”. I miss seeing you wave good-bye to me until I was out of sight and those are just some of the things I think about most at night. Most of all what I miss most is your kind and loving heart, I love you forever and always, those words were my favourite part. Love and miss you granny, Shauna xxx
