DOAK MARGARET Precious memories of my granny whose 4th Anniversary occurs 4th April 2024. There are so many things I miss about you that I could write, but I will only write about the things I think about most at night. I miss walking into your living room and seeing you sat on your chair, solving a crossword puzzle while mumbling a silent prayer. I miss seeing you sat smiling with your cigarette and a cup of tea, it was the simple things that made you happy, that was always clear to see. I miss seeing you on a summers day fixing up your garden and hearing you sing that Lynn Anderson song that started ‘I beg your par- don’. I miss seeing you wave goodbye to us until we were out of sight. I love you forever and always granny, look after us day and night. Your grand-daughter Shauna xxx
