FITZPATRICK GERALD (FITZY) 1st Anniversary occurs 25th June Sleeping soldier of Ireland The moment you left me my heart was split in two, one side was filled with memories, the other side died with you. But my darling Fitzy I know you are at peace now with your father, mother, brother and all your comrades. I often lie awake at night when the world is fast asleep and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek. Remembering the things you did for the love of your country, true soldier of Ireland. But missing you is the heartache that never goes away. I hold you tightly in my heart and there you will remain till the day I die and meet again. Always remembered by your darling wife Lily, all your friends in the Roddys Club. Till we meet again. RIP.
