GIBSON SAM Sam’s wife, daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren would like to express their appreciation to all who sympathised with them on their bereavement. In particular; the Denvir, Duddy and Dunlop families for their support. The kindness of those who attended the house, the Requiem Mass, Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and sent the beautiful flowers was a source of great comfort. We would also like to thank Father Sheehan and Lucy Doyle for their prayers at the house, Father Crossey for the Requiem Mass and delivering a fitting homily to Sam. Thank you also to Debbie Celtric for the flute outside the house and also in the Church. We would like to thank Healey Bros Funeral Directors for their guidance and dignified manner in the handling of the arrangements. We would also like to thank the Nurses, Consultants, ICU Mater Hospital, Nurses and Consultants ICU RVH involved in Sam’s care in the last few days of his illness, in particular the Nurses, Doctors and Dr Quinn who prolonged his life at the Bridgewater and Cancer Centre. Last but not least all our neighbours of Summerhill. We hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our thanks, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered up for your intentions for all. Sam’s Month Mind Mass will be held in St Lukes at 10.00am Sunday 3rd January. The service will be private due to the current restrictions.
