Hughes (nee Kane) Annie  R.I.P  Formerly of Belfast/Kildare.  The sons, daughters and large family circle of the late Annie Hughes wish to express our sincerest gratitude to everyone who supported and sympathised with us in our recent bereavement of our beautiful Mum. We wish to send a huge thank you to each and every person who helped us care for mum at home during her illness. We want to thank the numerous social care agencies, The Acute Care at Home Medical Team, District Nursing and the Social Work Teams at Beechall, Grosvenor Road surgery and all the private sitters who cared for mum with such kindness, dignity and respect. We also want to extend our gratitude to P.J Browns Funeral Directors for their kindness and understanding and the professional way in which they    arranged mums funeral. Sincerest thank you to Fr. Brankin at St.Oliver Plunkett Church and to Fr Peter Carlin and Fr Devlin for the pastoral care mum received during her illness, for the funeral Mass and burial which they conducted so beautifully. We also wish to thank them for the support they provided to us as a family during this heartbreaking time. Thank you to the beautiful soloist Marion Graham for her amazing singing and to Pado and all who helped with the music and singing at her home, Church and graveside. We offer our heartfelt thank you to everyone who called to our home during mum’s wake to offer condolences and to those who travelled long distances to be with us at this sad time. To everyone who attended mum’s funeral both in person and remotely online, thank you so much. Thank you to each and every person who sent mass cards and condolences and to the people who couldn't make it for various reasons, we felt your love and support. Our sincere appreciation to all of our friends and family who helped out at mum’s wake, to Jim and Mary McIlwaine at the Coffee house and our treasured friends and family who provided all the food and kept the teas and coffee flowing, your help was incredible and will never be forgotten. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted for all who knew mum North and South of the border and further afield.
