McGUINNESS Colette In loving memory of our dear Mother and nana on Mother’s Day. We wander to your graveside and place your flowers with care, no one knows the heartache as we turn and leave you there. As we lay these flowers, in our mind your voice we’ll hear, “Oh thank you, they’re beautiful, you shouldn’t have my dear”. If only we could have you back on this your special day, for it would be a wish come true to hand you your bouquet and chat to you as always over cake and cups of tea because those happy times we spend just meant so much to me. For nowhere in the whole wide world could any- body find a person who was lovelier, more thought- ful or more kind. For you were oh so special and we know one thing is true, there’ll never be a mother quite as wonderful as you. We cannot buy you chocolates or take you out to lunch, we cannot buy you chocolates or take you out to lunch, we cannot ring you up and speak to you on the phone, we cannot come to visit for we know you are not at home. So we say happy Mothers Day as we look towards the sky, for there is only ever “see you later” for there is no goodbye. Loved and missed dearly by your children Nicolette, Colin, Carl and families, also your grand-daughter Abbie xxxxxxxxxx
Nana you meant so much to all of us, you were spe- cial that’s no lie, you brightened up the darkest day and the cloudiest sky. Your smile alone warmed hearts, your laugh was like music to hear, we would give absolutely anything to have you well and standing near. Not a second passes when you’re not on our minds, your love we will never for- get, the hurt will ease in time. Many tears we have seen and cried, they have all poured out like rain, we know that you are happy now and no longer in any pain. Happy Heavenly Mothers Day Nana. We love and miss you always. From your grandchildren Declan, Megan, Riánnon, Caitlín, Casey, Damien, Louie, Beau and your great grandsons Jenson and Karson xxxxxx
