McMENAMIN Jim (Jimbo) Marie, Laura, Jim and Michael, wife, daughter and sons of the late Jim would like to express our sincere thanks to our family, friends and neighbours who supported and sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. Thank you to all who called to our home, sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers and wreaths, brought food and supported us through the wake, it was greatly appreciated. Thank you to Father Aidan Brankin who visited and blessed Jim in hospital and attended our home, Fr Robert Sloan for the beautiful funeral Mass. Special thanks to our friend Alex Quinn for the beautiful singing and music which was so personal. We were truly overwhelmed by the number of people who attended Jim’s funeral and those who watched via the webcam. Very special thanks to the ambulance crew who came to our home and attended Jim, and to all the doctors and nursing staff in RICU who cared for Jim in his last days and showed us so much compassion and support, you are truly angels on earth and will never be forgotten. A massive thank you to PJ Browns Funeral Directors, especially Brenda for the sympathic, professional and dignified handling of all the funeral arrangements, it was greatly appreciated. Thanks also to the Donegal Celtic club, staff and Fiona O’Hanlon for the catering afterwards. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude. God bless you all. Jim’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 31st July at 11.00am in St Oliver Plunkett church.
