OFFICER David (Davy) The family of the late Davy Officer wish to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love and support shown to us during Davy's illness and during our recent sad bereavement. Our heartfelt thanks to the many family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues for their kindness and support in calling at our home, sending Mass cards, letters, messages of sympathy and providing food and refreshments and to all those from near and far who attended the funeral. Our sincere thanks to Fr Gabriel Lyons for his celebration of Requiem Mass and to Olive, Sinead, Martin and Jude for their beautiful singing and music. Our special thanks to those who cared for Davy during his illness. Thanks to the staff of Healy Brothers for the professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thanks also to the staff of The Glenowen Inn for providing refreshments after the funeral service. As it would be impossible to thank individually all those whose kindness has brought such comfort to us, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere thanks.
