Best advice anyone ever gave you: Be yourself. Stay positive and see the best in yourself and others.
Best advice you could give someone thinking of a teaching career: Stay focused. It is the most rewarding job you will ever take. Especially in Irish medium where you can see their Irish language progress from the minute they enter the nursery.

I have lived in West Belfast all my life and went through Irish schools from Naíscoil na Fuiseoige, scoil na fuiseoige and Colaiste Feirste. My three-year-old daughter now attends Irish nursery and is already fluent in the language. Leaving my West Belfast job as a leader in an Irish language daycare was scary and to say I was nervous is an understatement but I am so glad I did it now as I can now say I am part of the first Irish intergrated nursery to open in East Belfast. And it is growing stronger every day!
