A WEST Belfast mother has appealed to her housing association for help in dealing with a bug infestation in her home.
Megan Gallagher, from Rose Street off the Springfield Road, says she has received no help from Radius Housing after reporting the infestation at the start of August.
Speaking to the Andersonstown News, Megan said: "I have lived here for seven years.
"I started noticing the bugs at the start of August. I rang Radius and no one got back to me. I then emailed them with a complaint. They told me it was nothing to do with them.

"I started to notice more and more bugs in the bedroom, in the drawers, in my son's bed. I had to throw the mattress out.
"I have really had enough of it. It has been going on for so long. It is coming up to Christmas and I just want it sorted out."
A spokesperson for Radius Housing said: "We were first made aware of the tenant’s concerns in August.
"At that time, advice was provided on potential causes and measures that could help address the issue.
"The tenant was also advised that insect-related issues would generally be the tenant’s responsibility and that, if the problem persisted, specialist assistance may be required via a private contractor."
