Thomas McMullan is an award-winning photographer whose career began with the very first edition of the North Belfast News in March 1998.
He has covered the dark and the light of Belfast, from contentious parades and riots to baptisms and community celebrations. Some of his most searing work covered the sectarian blockade of Holy Cross Girls' School in North Belfast in 2001.
As well as working full-time with the Belfast Media Group, he is a member of the CB Camera Club in North Belfast and a keen motorcyclist.
His work has been recognised at the Press Photographers Association Awards and was featured in the Out of the Darkness exhibition.
