IT is the penultimate day of Féile an Phobail 2026 but it promises to be another huge day of events for all the family to get involved in.
On Saturday night, local DJ Billie Gillies will headline the annual Féile Dance Night in the Falls Park.

9am - Féile an Phobail Poc Fada (Divis Mountain Coffee Barn) - The famous Féile an Phobail Poc Fada will make a return to the wonderful setting of the Divis and Black Mountain. The Poc Fada is a very proud tradition for the GAA where Hurlers and Camogs have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and determination as they battle against the elements and the mountainous conditions to keep their balance and co-ordination as they strike a sliothar over a lengthy course in the fewest strikes possible.
10am - Lúnasa Big Walk (Meeting Point: Belfast Castle) - Celebrate Lúnasa in the Belfast Hills with a scenic walk through nature as we connect with community and embrace the spirit of the season amidst some of Belfast’s most stunning landscapes. Experience the beauty of the hills and the magic of Lúnasa together on this uplifting journey for all.
10am - Mountains to Meadows Walk (Meeting Point: St Galls GAC, Milltown Row) - The Meadows to Mountains walk will feature key environmental areas in West Belfast including the Bog Meadows, Falls Park, through to the Belfast Hills.
11am - UNISON Walk for Palestine (Meeting Point: Black Mountain Car-Park) - Unison RVH/Muckamore Branch’s Annual Walk for Palestine across the Belfast Hills will raise funds for projects carried out at The Lajee Centre in the Aida refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.
11am - 2pm - Upper Springfield Colour Run and Fun Day (Whiterock Leisure Centre) -The event will include family activities and the return of the famous Falls Park Colour which takes place at 1pm.
1pm - Siobhan O’Hanlon Gaelic for Mothers and Others Blitz (St Galls GAC) - The Naomh Gall Siobhan O’Hanlon Gaelic for Mothers and Others blitz returns to De La Salle Park, Milltown. The blitz is named in honour of one of Féile an Phobail’s founding members, dedicated community activist and member of Naomh Gall, Siobhan O’Hanlon. This event is known for being a fun day of sport for the G4MO teams and spectators alike.
8pm - 4 Days in Derry (St Comgalls) - first-ever Belfast performance of Bernadette McFarland’s play 4 Days in Derry: A Woman’s Story. This powerful drama tells the story of Bloody Sunday, through the eyes of the mothers, wives, sisters and daughters of the innocent men shot dead by the British army.
