DETECTIVES are investigating the sudden death of a man in the Cromwell Road area of South Belfast on Wednesday.
Officers responded to an address in south Belfast, following the report of a concern for safety. The man was taken to hospital by colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service shortly after 1pm, but sadly passed away.
A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the investigation and remains in custody at this time
Detective Inspector Jack Kelly said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this and we would encourage anyone who has any information that may assist us to get in contact with officers on 101 quoting reference 707 11/02/26.
“A further update will be provided in due course.”
