Fire in Beechmount – residents told to keep windows and doors shut

THE Fire and Rescue Service and PSNI are at the scene of a fire on Beechmount Parade in west Belfast.

Local residents are advised to keep their windows and doors shut while the fire is brought under control.

The blaze at the former Corpus Christi School is just the latest act of vandalism at the site in recent months. Eight fire appliances and over 50 fire fighters are currently at the scene.
