Alison McCrudden has worked as a freelance artist for the last 20 years in the arts industry, working as an actor, director, producer, writer and facilitator. She co-founded Brassneck Youth in 2015 with Tony Devlin and Finn Kennedy. Brassneck Youth offers children and young people in West Belfast access to participatory arts workshops.
Alison taught and coordinated the HND in Performing Arts Acting courses at Belfast Met for 12 years and is Joint Head of Drama and Literature for the Arts Council NI.
She is a native of west Belfast and lives there with her husband and family. She is proud to be a true Westie and a contributor of the Mouthpiece column to the Andytown News.
