THE Belfast Media Group was named ‘Employer of the Year’ at the recent Workforce Training Services ‘Celebration of Success’ event held at its Springfield headquarters. Receiving the award on behalf of the Belfast Media Group, Human Resources Manager Alison Sweeney said: “The management and staff of the Belfast Media Group are absolutely honoured to accept the Workforce Employer of the Year Award as a people-orientated organisation which strives to facilitate employment in the community and provide excellent quality training to all our employees.

It is events such as this one today that set out to not only recognise the trainees and the immense work that they have covered in the year past, but also the employers and organisations who have assisted work-based learning providing placements and support to Workforce throughout the year.
“When organisations such as Workforce recognise people as effectively as they have today they help also to reinforce the actions of our youth and highlight the talent and skills combined with an ability to work hard that managers are looking for in today's employment market.
