A MAN has been arrested after drugs worth £300,000 was seized at Belfast City Airport.

The arrest of the 36-year-old took place on Wednesday after the suspected Class B controlled drugs were seized from the luggage of the man who was arriving on a connecting international flight.

The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class B controlled drugs, possession of Class B controlled drugs with intent to supply and importation of class B controlled drugs. He remains in custody at this time.
